



Catch A Lift (CAL) is a nonprofit organization that has helped thousands of post-9/11 combat wounded veterans regain their mental and physical health through gym memberships, in-home gym equipment, personalized fitness, and nutrition programs, and a peer support network.

St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore is a nonprofit organization that was recently awarded a $50,000 grant to ensure they continue working to break the cycle of poverty and improve the lives of thousands facing homelessness in the greater city of Baltimore. One of their services includes hosting an 8-week summer camp serving 250+ homeless children (ages 5-14), from shelters and transitional housing programs in Baltimore city and county.
The curriculum and activities are specifically designed to address the impact of homelessness on academic, social, and emotional development. After working as a volunteer for four summers and offering my services in the summer of 2017, my work has been used as part of their promotional materials including this newsletter feature.
